AICIS of Australia Makes Changes to the Conditions for Inventory Related to HFO-1234yf

Pursuant to Section 86 of the Industrial Chemicals Act 2019, on August 1, 2022, the Australian Industrial Chemicals Introduction Scheme (AICIS) announced that it would change the conditions for “1-Propene, 2,3,3,3-tetrafluoro- (HFO-1234yf, CAS RN: 754-12-1). The AIIC terms will change from August 29, 2022.

This change in conditions was due to the release of a risk assessment report for the substance on June 30, 2022, in which it was recommended that the management method for HFO-1234yf be revised.
