Taiwan extends validity period of MIT Smile Mark to three years

On March 7, 2023, the Ministry of Economic Affairs of Taiwan announced the amendments to the “Promotion and management measures for the MIT (Made in Taiwan) Smile Mark of products made in Taiwan”. The amended measures will come into effect on May 18, 2023. The MIT Smile Mark is a voluntary certification system that has been implemented in Taiwan since 2010 to create an image of safe and reliable Taiwanese products.
