Taiwan revises the MEPS standard of ductless air conditioners, will be effective from January 1, 2025

On July 22, 2022, the Ministry of Economic Affairs of Taiwan officially announced the revision of the notice “Labelling items, measures and inspection methods for minimum energy performance standard and energy efficiency rating of ductless air conditioners”, which defines the MEPS (Minimum Energy Performance Standards) for ductless air conditioners. The revised notice will be effective from January 1, 2025. In this revision, the MEPS of air-cooled air conditioners and the energy efficiency rating index of ductless air conditioners are raised.
