Taiwan announces safety precautions for handling of hazardous materials in factories

On December 27, 2023, the Ministry of Labor of Taiwan issued the “Safety precautions for handling and using hazardous materials in factories”. The document is designed to help businesses safely handle and use hazardous materials in factories and prevent accidents from occurring. The document consists of “General common matters” and “Arrangement of appropriate protective measures”. “General common matters” includes precautions such as labelling of hazardous chemicals and SDS notices. “Arrangement of appropriate protective measures” is reference information for various protective measures.
