Singapore amends regulations concerning industrial wastewater

Singapore’s Sewerage and Drainage (Trade Effluent) (Amendment No. 2) Regulations 2024 (hereafter referred to as the Regulations) were promulgated on June 28, 2024 and came into effect on July 1. These Regulations partially amend the “Sewage and Drainage (Trade Effluent) Regulations” and amend the list of prohibited substances and the threshold of pollutants.
