Singapore amends noise standards for goods vehicles and buses

On March 28, 2024, in Singapore, the “Environmental Protection and Management (Vehicular Emissions) (Amendment) Regulations 2024” (hereinafter referred to as the Regulations) were promulgated and came into effect on April 1, 2024. The regulations partially amend “Environmental Protection and Management (Vehicular Emissions) Regulations,” which set standards for automobile emissions, noise, and fuel quality. The noise standards for goods vehicles and buses have been amended as a result of this amendment.
