Malaysia Energy Label for Electric Ovens

Malaysia's Energy Commission has published the "Guidelines on the Minimum Energy Performance Standards (MEPS) for Electric Ovens" on November 1, 2023. Electric ovens that fall under the scope and are manufactured, imported, or sold in Malaysia must be tested and achieve a minimum 2-star rating based on energy efficiency ratings. An energy efficiency label must then be affixed to the product. These requirements will come into effect one year later, i.e., on November 1, 2024.
