Korea to amend “Labeling Standards for Quality and Structure Grade of Packaging Materials”

On November 4, 2022, the Korean Ministry of Environment announced a proposed amendment to the “Labeling Standards for Quality and Structure Grade of Packaging Materials”, and announced that it plans to exclude “paper packs using aluminum foil” from the exemption under the “Grade Rating Display Obligation.”
