Korea announces hazardous and dangerous properties and measures for 62 new chemical substances

On September 30, 2022, the Ministry of Employment and Labor of South Korea issued public notice (Ministry of Employment and Labor Public Notice No. 2022-404) in accordance with Article 108 of the Industrial Safety and Health Act that lists the names of 62 new chemical substances, their hazardous and dangerous properties, annual production and import amounts, and measures to prevent health hazards to workers (hereinafter referred to as “measures and other items”).
