South Korean NICS revises hazardous chemical handling standards for display manufacturing industry to apply same standards as semiconductor manufacturing industry

On December 28, 2023, the National Institute of Chemical Safety (NICS) of South Korea issued Notice on the Installation and Management of Hazardous Chemical Handling Facilities in the Semiconductor and Display Manufacturing Industries to be enforced on January 10, 2024. This Notice is a revision of an existing notice that previously covered only semiconductor manufacturing industry to also cover the display manufacturing industry.
