South Korean explores measures to address falsified or incomplete EIA reports together with experts from various fields

On November 27, 2023, the South Korean Ministry of Environment (MOE), together with Reps. Noh Woong-rae and Lim Lee-ja, both of which are members of the National Assembly Committee on Environment and Labor, held a policy discussion forum titled "Making a New Leap in the Environmental Impact Assessment Program: What are the solutions?" The forum also featured presentations by MOE and Korea Environment Institute (KEI), titled "Directions for Improving the Environmental Impact Assessment Program" and "Operation Examples and Implications of Environmental Impact Assessment Overseas," respectively.
