South Korea industrial ministry adds nine models to list of environmentally friendly vehicles

On September 27, 2023, the Ministry of Trade, Industry and Energy of South Korea (MOTIE) issued a notice and enforced the Regulations on Requirements for Environmentally Friendly Vehicles in accordance with Article 2, Item 2 of the Act on the Development and Promotion of Environmentally Friendly Vehicles, and Article 2, Paragraph 1 and Article 5, Paragraph 2 of the Enforcement Rules of the same Act.
