South Korea to conduct intensive inspections for 400 business establishments handling hazardous chemicals

On April 16, 2023, the Ministry of Environment of South Korea announced its plan to conduct intensive inspections on the compliance with provisions of the Chemicals Control Act and impose strict punishment on business establishments violating the Act, targeting approximately 400 business establishments nationwide that handle hazardous chemical substances, in the period of April 17, 2023, to June 16, 2023.
