South Korea discusses policy to fully revise Industrial Safety and Health Act

On March 10, 2023, the Ministry of Employment and Labor of South Korea launched the Industrial Safety and Health Laws and Regulations Improvement Promotion Group, comprised of experts from various fields, including academia and the legal profession. The purpose is to promote the establishment of a self-discipline prevention system with hazard assessment at its core and to make the Rules on Industrial Safety and Health Standards more suitable in the field in response to the changing technological and industrial structure through comprehensive revision of laws and regulations.
