The Malaysian Department of Occupational Safety and Health (DOSH) announced the " Occupational Safety and Health Master Plan 2026-2030 (OSHMP30)" in February 2026. The department aims to reduce the number of occupational accidents by 15% before 2030 while seeking to revise the Occupational Safety and Health Act 1994 and strengthen inspection frameworks. In addition to regulatory improvements, this comprehensive plan includes expansion of worker welfare, support for regulatory self-assessment by companies, and the implementation of awareness & educational campaigns.
