Malaysia releases updated guidelines for certification system for environmentally-friendly products and services

In Malaysia, on April 25, 2024, two guidelines on the MyHIJAU system “Guideline for the Registration of MyHIJAU Mark Product Version 2.0” and “Guideline for the Registration of MyHIJAU Mark Service Version 2.0” were updated as the second versions. The MyHIJAU system combines green products and services that meet Malaysian and international environmental standards under a single mark for the purpose of procurement and promotion of purchasing environmentally-friendly products and services. It is managed by the Malaysian Green Technology and Climate Change Corporation (MGTC). The MyHIJAU mark (below) can be used for products and services registered under this system. The MyHIJAU mark is also used as a reference for government green procurement.

Here, as an example, we will describe “Guideline for the Registration of MyHIJAU Mark Product Version 2.0”.
