New Zealand Publishes Order Adding Dechlorane Plus, UV-328, and Methoxychlor to the Imports and Exports (Restrictions) Prohibition Order (No 2) 2004

On March 15, 2025, the New Zealand government announced in the official Gazette the enactment of the Imports and Exports (Restrictions) Prohibition Order (No. 2) 2004 Amendment Order 2025, which came into effect on March 14, 2025. This amendment, issued under Section 3A(1) of the Imports and Exports (Restrictions) Act 1998, adds Dechlorane Plus (CAS No. 13560-89-9 et al.), UV-328 (CAS No. 25973-55-1), and Methoxychlor (CAS No. 72-43-5 et al.) to Schedule 1 (Stockholm Chemicals) of the  Imports and Exports (Restrictions) Prohibition Order (No 2) 2004.
