AICIS of Australia announces new assessment report for six chemicals

On September 14, 2022, the Australian Industrial Chemicals Introduction Scheme (AICIS) released a new assessment report for six chemicals under Section 37 of the Industrial Chemicals Act 2019.

The assessment report includes the following substances:

Carbamic acid, N-[(dimethoxymethylsilyl)methyl]-, methyl ester Industrial adhesive/sealant
β-Alanine, N-(2-hydroxyethyl)-N-[2-[(1-oxooctyl)amino]ethyl]- Component in fire extinguisher products
Graphene Component in heat conducting fluid in automotive, computer, and solar cell industries, research and development
Oils, Schinus terebinthifolius Fragrance ingredient for household and consumer products
2,5-Furandione, polymer with 1-alkene, α-methyl-ω-(2-propen-1-yloxy)poly(oxy-1,2-ethanediyl) and 1-alkene, alkyl amide Diesel fuel additive
Heptene, tridecafluoromethoxy- Industrial cleaning solvent, carrier fluid or heat medium
