Malaysia launches new website for hazardous substance registration

In April 2021, the Department of Environment (DOE) of the Ministry of Environment and Water, Malaysia announced the close of its existing Environmental Hazardous Substance Notification and Registration (EHSNR) system and the launch of a new website named “MyEHS” ( https://myehs.doe.gov.my/portal/myehs/ ). This system allows users to register Environmentally Hazardous Substances (EHS) and search the list of registered substances, usage manuals, FAQs, etc.

 

This system has been operating under the name of “EHSNR” until that time. The system, which had been in operation since 2009, is for notification and registration of Environmentally Hazardous Substances (EHS), and every company (manufacturer or importer of chemicals) has voluntarily done so through the website.
