Malaysia releases FAQs on the repeal of the Factories and Machinery Act 1967

On May 20, 2024, the Malaysian Department of Occupational Safety and Health (DOSH) released a FAQ on the repeal of the Factories and Machinery Act 1967 from June 1, 2024. This FAQ explains in particular the expiration date of certificates of competency and machine conformity certificates, their renewal, and the implementation of various inspections with the repeal of this Act and the transition to the Occupational Safety and Health Act 1994.
