Malaysia issues guidance on preparation of noise assessment reports

On July 12, 2023, the Malaysian Department of Occupational Safety and Health (DOSH ) released its Guidance for Employers on the Preparation of Noise Control Practicability Assessment Report 2023 (hereinafter referred to as the Guidance). Based on the Occupational Safety and Health (Noise Exposure) Regulations 2019, if it is found that a certain level of noise exposure has been exceeded in the workplace, employers must introduce methods to control noise.
