South Korea publishes candidate list of substances subject to authorization and hazard study report for public comment

On November 23, 2022, the Korea Environment Corporation, an agency under South Korea Ministry of Environment, publicly announced the Inventory of Candidate Substances Subject to Authorization (Ministry of Environment Public Notice No. 2022-671) and announced that it would solicit opinions until February 28, 2023. Eleven substances including benzene, dibutyl phthalate (DBP), and benzyl butyl phthalate (BBP) are listed as candidates for substances subject to authorization this time.
