Korea implements Waste Disposal Site Information Transmission System and Medical Waste Generator Certification System

The Ministry of Environment of South Korea implemented Waste Disposal Site Information Transmission System and enhanced Medical Waste Generator Certification System on October 1, 2022, to eliminate blind spots in the management of business waste. With the implementation of the Waste Disposal Site Information Transmission System, waste collectors and transporters are required to install vehicle terminal equipment (GPS) on their collection and transport vehicles and transmit their location information to the Allbaro system (waste disposal site information management system) in real time.
