South Korea to actively electrify forklifts and other construction machinery

On August 28, 2025, South Korea’s Minister of Environment, Kim Sung-whan, visited Doosan Bobcat Korea’s production plant in Dong District, Incheon Metropolitan City. At the plant, he reviewed the latest electrification technologies for construction machinery, including forklifts, and exchanged views on how to accelerate the transition to electrified construction machinery.
