South Korea to amend K-BPR law to ease penalties

On March 17, 2025, the Environment and Labor Committee of the National Assembly of South Korea published a draft amendment to the Consumer Chemical Products and Biocides Safety Act (hereinafter “the Act” or "K-BPR"), stating that the current penalties for violations of certain provisions of the Act will be revised.
