South Korea’s Ministry of Environment promulgates revised K-REACH to charge usage fee to those approved to usage hazard test data

On January 9, 2024, the Ministry of Environment (MOE) of South Korea promulgated a newly revised version of the Act on Registration, Evaluation, etc. of Chemicals (hereinafter "K-REACH"). MOE stated that the revision of K-REACH intends to allow MOE to charge a usage fee to those who have been approved to use chemicals hazard test data, also specifying those who are eligible for a full or partial reduction of the usage fee.
